1. It is found in Red Sea along the coasts of Japan and Indo-China and is a marine solitary animal.
2. Body is oval and dorso-ventrally flattened.
3. It is an ectocommensal on Alcyonarians.
4. Swimming plates are absent.
5. On the aboral surface 12-60 erectile papillae are present in four rows.
6. Mouth is ventral sense organs (Statocyst) are dorsal and paired and tentacles are paired and retractile.
7. Ovary and testis occur on the meridonial canals.
8. Larva is Cydlppld and metamosphosis is found.
