Get the answer of: How air plays dual role ?
Vedas are the most ancient script of Aryans written between 1,500 and 8,500 BC. However, man’s basic resources acting as life support system has been described as panchbhutas i.e. soil (kshiti), water (Aap), energy (Agni), space (Aakash), and air (Vayu). In addition to the description of panchbhutas towards spiritualism, air has been discussed as the breath of life (Pran). Air plays dual role i.e. creating the health and diseased condition.
The cool mild breeze coming through a garden brings fragrance and solace to humans. In such a condition one experiences comfort. Moreover, such conditions are better for control of exhalation and inhalation of air i.e. Pranayam. In addition, the stormy air (wind) becomes dangerous sometimes causing a great damage to both the natural/man-made structures on the earth.
Moreover, air containing foul smelling and pathogenic microorganisms are not fit for human health. Such air causes many human diseases including allergy. The allergy causing air-borne agents are called aeroallergens that include biotic and abiotic factors. The spread of pollen grains in the air depends on the meteorological parameters.
